The first season (2019–2020) of Mehmet Bozda’s Turkish TV series Kuruluş: Osman follows the fifth season of Diriliş: Erturul, which it replaces, and comes before the second season. When Diriliş: Erturul’s seasons are taken into account, Kuruluş: Osman’s first season is also the second of two Turkish TV shows. The historical drama TV show’s first season debuted on November 20, 2019, and it ended on June 24, 2020.
Erturul Ghazi departs for Konya ten or fifteen years after the Berke-Hulagu war, leaving his brother Dündar Bey in charge of his tribe. Dündar Bey is easily persuaded to carry out the wrongdoings of others.

Alişar, the cunning Selçuk Sançak Bey, and Sofia, the ruthless princess of Kulucahisar, who wants to murder every Turk, trap him. Dündar’s nephew Osman, who can see right through Alişar and Sofia’s schemes, warns him about them even though he won’t listen. Geyhatu sends Komutan Balgay to stir up more trouble and prevent the Kay, particularly Osman, from rising up against the Mongols as tensions against the Kay continue to rise. Dündar, who submits to the Mongols and becomes the Sançak Bey, is blind to Alişar’s rage at having been awarded the throne, and he believes him when he accuses Osman of killing his son.

Soon after, Osman marries Bala, beheads Alişar, and Dündar is informed of the truth alongside a threat from Kulucahisar. Following this, Kulucahisar is ultimately taken by the Kay, likely with Sofia’s death occurring in the process, while Balgay is apparently killed by Osman.
