Noah, like earlier prophets like Ibrhm (Abraham), Ism’l (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya’qub (Jacob), Isa (Jesus), Ilyas (Elijah), Ayyub (Job), Harun (Aaron), Yunus (Jonah), Dawud (David), and Muhammad, was inspired by Allah and was Noah preached Islam and was a fervent believer in God’s oneness.
He often warned the people of the impending disaster and urged them to accept one God rather than worshipping idols like Wadd, Suwa’, Yaghuth, Ya’uq, and Nasr.
He urged the people to worship God and declared that only God could save them. He claimed that the flood had been predicted and could not be postponed, and that the people needed to bow to God.
Noah was given the task of building the Ark by God, and while he was doing so, the chieftains insulted him. The ship is reported to be loaded with pairs of every animal and Noah’s household when it is finished, as well as a group of Christians who did bow to God. People who refused to believe Noah’s warning, including one of his own sons, perished. The ship’s last resting spot was referred to as “Al-Jdiyy” or a “Munzalanm-Mubrakan” .Noah is referred to as a grateful servant.
Noah and Abraham were both taught about prophethood and the Bible. God told Noah to take all the species he required aboard the ship, according to a Shia tafsir (exegesis). According to Prophetic descendants, the scripture refers to eight animals.
