According to Islamic belief, the Men of Angelos television series, also known as The Companions of the Cave , tells the account of the Seven Sleepers . The Seven Sleepers was a group of young people who hid in a cave near the city of Ephesus around 250 CE to escape religious persecution and emerged some 300 years later, according to Christian and Islamic tradition.
